Transylvania Digital Humanities Centre – DigiHUBB is pleased to invite you to its first public lecture of 2016, delivered by our guest, Dr. Christian Schwaderer from the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen, Germany.
His first lecture delivered in Cluj-Napoca, titled “The Long Way to a Scholarly Edition. Technical Skills Necessary and Ways to Deal With Data Complexity”, will take place on Wednesday, the 27th of January, 2016 at 17:00, in the Sala Club of the Academic College (Faculty of European Studies, 1 Emmanuel de Martone Street).
Dr. Schwaderer is a Medievalist who specializes in the historiography of the 11th and 12th century Central Europe. His wider research interests include digital scholarly editing, matters of usability, interactive user design and long-term preservation of digital editions. A recent research endeavor of Dr. Christian Schwaderer has been a Digital Edition of a Latin Chronicle originating from South East Germany.
